Huh? The Bathroom Boys?

Back in 2002, Scott Wilson and Aaron Hurlbut gathered their most talented buddies to sing together. Since then, we have developed into a nationally-recognized a cappella group known as the “Bathtub Dogs”. Our goal as a performing ensemble is simple: To entertain.

Let’s Talk!

We are all students at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (Go Big Red!). Some of us are music students, but not all — our only commonality is that we each have a passion for performing. The number of singers on our roster varies often due to regular graduations, but we have 18 incredible personalities currently on our roster. There’s no shortage of fun, either on-stage or with each other after rehearsal. Get to know us in the gallery below!

Want Bathtub Dogs at your next event?

We love to perform. Weddings, charity events, concerts, you name it! We have arrangements for 20 years worth of songs - and if you have a request we often have in-house arrangers who can bring your song to life a cappella style! Our fully-functional sound system, which includes professional-grade speakers, microphones, cords, stands, and a sound board, is able to be transported to and from our office for events. But do we actually sing well? YES! Our group is recognized as the premier men’s group at UNL and in 2020, we won first place at the Southwest ICCA Quarterfinal (have you ever heard of Pitch Perfect?). We also have had the honor to open concerts for Ben Folds and grammy-award winning band OK Go.

Meet our 2023 Pup Class

Each Fall and Spring we hold auditions to pick some incredibly talented new members. This Fall, we welcomed six new “pups” into our group - from left to right, James Rasser, Nolan Marlatt, Caden Keller, Henry Vote, Jake Buresh, and Seth Rogers.
